Foundations and Frontiers of Physics Education Research: Puget Sound 2026

The sixth Foundations and Frontiers of Physics Education Research: Puget Sound (FFPERPS) conference will be held August 20-23, 2026, at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center. FFPERPS is a regional conference, open to physics educators – including physics education researchers and teachers of physics – in the Cascadia region and beyond. The conference is designed to increase communication and collaboration. The conference provides a forum for examining and articulating current themes, best practices, and research directions in physics education, as well as discussing promising new areas to explore in teaching and research. The structure of the conference includes plenary talks, targeted breakout sessions, contributed poster sessions, and substantial free time for informal interactions.

Information about targeted sessions/workshops is coming soon.

Registration includes lodging and meals, as well as all conference sessions. You may register to bring guests, who can enjoy the natural environment while you attend the conference. The registration deadline is expected to be in late Spring 2026.
