This web site contains a complete suite of resources suitable for the second semester of an undergraduate electricity and magnetism class. The materials developed include a suite of clicker questions, in-class activities, homework problems, and other assessments. The topics covered include Maxwell's time-dependent equations, AC circuits, conservation laws, electromagnetic waves in vacuum and media, potentials and gauge transformations, radiation & special relativity. This package of course materials also contains implementation guides, an archive of several past E&M II courses at the University of Colorado, and supporting materials such as explicit learning goals, relevant education research articles, and notes on common student difficulties.
The materials are available in Word, Powerpoint, and PDF formats to facilitate their adaptation and implementation by others. Assessment materials are available to verified educators. The authors of these materials are seeking feedback to help in the refinement and improvement of these course materials and assessments.
