American Journal of Physics
written by Sam Austin and K.E. Gilbert
Researchers compared the performance of 25 students taught in a Keller-plan (self-paced) format following with that of the students in the lecture-recitation section. In each case the Keller-plan students did substantially better. Suggestions are made for improvements in the usual Keller-plan format.
