Abstract Title: Maple as a Learning Tool in an Introductory Physics Course
Abstract: Maple is a powerful programming software with the ability to handle mathematics symbolically. This feature together with the capability for 2D and 3D graphical display make this software an excellent tool to teach and learn physics concepts as well as to acquire problem solving skills. The purpose of this presentation is to show evidence of how creative students can be, in Physics, when they are given the opportunity to use an appropriate software.
