Abstract Title: | Out of one, many; five researchers analyze the same student video |
---|---|
Abstract: | This session brings together five experts with different theoretical perspectives for an in-depth conversation centered on a single classroom video. Focused discussion will highlight how the experts' analyses compare, contrast, and compliment one another, and enable participants to see some of the strengths and limitations of these different perspectives in a specific context. Want to know more? Go to http://public.me.com/ddykstra and open the "Different Perspectives" folder to watch the actual classroom video, read it's transcript, and view what each researcher will present. Come prepared to contribute to the discussion! |
