Abstract Title: | Computation in the Physics Classroom: A Census of Instructor Beliefs |
---|---|
Abstract: | Computation has become ubiquitous in physics; however, at most college-level institutions, it is under-represented in physics instruction. We conducted ~20 interviews with faculty, instructors, and graduate students, to learn about their beliefs regarding the utility of computation in the physics classroom. We report on the themes gleaned from these interviews. |
