Abstract Title: | Realistic Exam Practice Study |
---|---|
Abstract: | Online practice exams have been important tools for students to prepare for their actual exams in our large introductory-level physics courses at the University of Illinois. In the past years, we've found that practice exams can improve students' performance and provide formative assessment of students' abilities before exams. However, the format in which these practice exams are made available to students can significantly influence their effectiveness. In this poster, we will present previous results and propose a study exploring how the format of practice exams affects students' study behaviors, metacognition, and exam performance. |
