| Abstract: | What matters to you about funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF)? What are you curious about? Let's talk about the NSF: writing proposals, serving as a reviewer, and interacting with NSF solicitations and systems. I'll give you a quick overview of what the NSF does for physics education, cover some general guidelines for interacting with the NSF, and then open the floor to your questions. If you're just getting started with a proposal idea or writing your first (or second or next) proposal, this session is for you. If you're curious about how NSF funding works and don't have a proposal idea yet, this session is for you. If you feel comfortable writing NSF proposals, be prepared to share your wisdom and network with new-to-you community members. |
