Abstract Title: Physics Education Research at Primarily Undergraduate Institutions
Abstract Type: Plenary
Abstract: Although the field of Physics Education Research has significantly advanced our knowledge of student learning in physics, it can be difficult to translate research findings into classroom practices that work for a specific institutional context. This talk will explore the unique challenges and opportunities faced by educators and researchers at primarily undergraduate institutions (PUIs). It will also highlight collaborative research initiatives aimed at advancing PER in PUI settings.
