|---|---|
| Abstract Type: | Contributed Poster Presentation |
| Abstract: | As Quantum Information Science (QIS) evolves, so does the urgency to understand how education can prepare a robust, inclusive workforce. This emerging research explores three key questions: What skills and knowledge are most needed by quantum industry? How can mid-career scientists and engineers transition into QIS roles? And how can these efforts be scaled equitably? We outline our early-stage plans to investigate these questions through stakeholder interviews, curriculum analysis, and pilot educational models. Special attention is given to experiential learning opportunities as critical bridges between academic training and industry needs. This poster presents our research agenda and invites collaboration to co-develop scalable, evidence-based strategies that align QIS education with workforce demands. |
