The Center for Research in Mathematics & Science Education (CRMSE) brings together researchers interested in studying how individuals acquire knowledge in mathematics and science. CRMSE facilitates and encourages collaboration among faculty members from departments of the College of Sciences and the College of Education. Faculty and staff of CRMSE are engaged in activities including research, curriculum development and dissemination, publications, presentations, and leadership roles. CRMSE serves as the headquarters for the Association of Mathematics Teacher Educators (AMTE), the leading organization devoted to supporting mathematics teacher education, and houses the Professional Development Collaborative (PDC).
